My name is Jürgen Peschlow. I am a state-certified optician and optometrist and the owner of the „Praxis für Winkelfehlsichtigkeit“ (Practice for Binocular Vision Dysfunction) in Berlin, Germany.
I have been working in the field of binocular vision dysfunction and heterophoria correction since 1980 and opened my own optician’s practice, Augenoptik am Adenauerplatz, in 1995. Even at that time, there was a significant lack of adequate care for people with binocular vision dysfunction— a situation that, unfortunately, has not changed to this day.
To provide affected individuals with even better care, I closed my optician’s shop in the summer of 2010 and founded the Praxis für Winkelfehlsichtigkeit. As part of this transition, I moved into larger practice rooms at Kurfürstendamm 117, where I worked very successfully for many years.
In 2025, however, I had to leave these premises due to a complete renovation of the building.

To continue my work, I relocated the practice to new rooms in Berlin-Lichtenrade. Although this location is not as central as before, I am grateful to all patients who continue to make their way to my practice.

My work continues to bring me great joy. For this reason, I intend to be here for patients with binocular vision dysfunction (BVD) — and the symptoms they cause — at least until 2030 or longer. After that, I plan to personally train a successor to ensure that patients continue to receive reliable care in the future.
Over the years, I have developed my own method for measuring and correcting binocular vision dysfunction / heterophoria. This is the only reason I can ensure — and guarantee — that my prism glasses reliably help the people who come to me.
It is also very important to me that the medical community becomes more aware of the fact that many symptoms can be permanently resolved with a correctly fitted prism correction. I would very much like to demonstrate this in a scientific study.
