Booking a Follow-Up Appointment
If you are already a patient, please always call to schedule follow-up appointments: 0049 30 882 44 42
Booking a First Appointment
Please distinguish between cluster headaches and other symptoms, as the procedures differ:
First Appointment (if you do not have cluster headaches)
If you would like to schedule your first appointment and do not suffer from cluster headaches, please send an email to: info@richtig-sehen.de
Please include the following information in your email:
- your visual problems and symptoms
- your name, place of residence, and a phone number for a call-back
- your latest spectacle prescription (if available)
If possible, a photo of your eye area. I can often already see on the photo whether a binocular vision dysfunction (heterophoria) is present.
If you have experienced significantly fewer symptoms while wearing an eye patch, it is very likely that a prism correction will help you.
After receiving your email, I will call you, answer any open questions, and discuss the next steps.
All information you send will of course be handled strictly confidentially.
First Appointment (if you do have cluster headaches)
If you would like to schedule a first appointment because of cluster headaches, please send an email to: info@richtig-sehen.de
Please include the following information:
- your name, place of residence, and a call-back number
- Have you been diagnosed with “cluster headache”? If yes, by whom?
- Do you have episodic or chronic cluster headaches — and since when?
- Please describe your cluster headaches in a few sentences; the more I know, the better I can assess your situation.
- Please send a photo of your eye area on which I can clearly see your eye alignment. In most cases I can already determine from a photo whether a vertical heterophoria (slight vertical deviation) is present.
- Have you done the eye-patch test, and if yes: did it reduce your pain?
- Do you have any conditions that could affect muscle coordination and therefore the correction?
- Which medications are you currently taking?
- Your latest spectacle prescription (if available)
After receiving your email, I will call you, answer your questions, and discuss the next steps.
All information will of course be treated strictly confidentially.
Additional Notes
- Due to high demand, waiting times may occur — especially for first appointments.
- If you need your current glasses adjusted or repaired, you may visit anytime during opening hours; no appointment is necessary.
- Please notify us in advance if you cannot attend your appointment.
- If you are ill, please cancel your appointment — illness can affect the measurement results.
- Before correcting a binocular vision disorder, please avoid treatments of the neck and upper back muscles, as this can influence the measurements.
- A suitable spectacle frame (fit, shape, size) is essential for the success of a prism correction.
We continue to offer a carefully selected range of frames, as not every frame is suitable for prism lenses.
I often receive inquiries from Germany and abroad asking whether I can recommend another practice that works the same way I do.
Unfortunately, this is not possible. I have developed my own measurement and correction method over many years and provide a guarantee on my prism corrections. To my knowledge, no other practice currently offers a comparable method or a similar guarantee.
